The internal bipolar transistors operate in Class A, eliminating crossover distortion and unwanted harmonics often found in other amplifier designs. The output stage uses power MOSFET transistors which, thanks to a high quiescent current circuit, operate in conditions equivalent to Class A up to approximately 10 watts of output power. Beyond this level the amplifier gradually transitions to Class AB operation, ensuring high available power and extremely low crossover distortion.

The resulting sonic character combines the musicality and warmth often associated with valve amplifiers with the stability, reliability and consistency typical of solid-state designs. This combination delivers an engaging and natural listening experience without sacrificing the robustness and precision expected from modern electronics.

The rear panel provides both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, ensuring broad compatibility with a wide range of sources and preamplifiers. A 12V remote trigger input is also included, allowing the amplifier to be automatically switched on or placed into standby by compatible devices, enabling coordinated power management within the system.

A sophisticated electronic protection circuit safeguards both the amplifier and the connected loudspeakers, ensuring safe operation even during extended listening sessions or at high volume levels.
