This design results in extended bandwidth, perfectly linear frequency response, and remarkably low distortion, making the amplifier suitable for both analog sources and the latest ultra-high-resolution digital formats.

The MC2102 delivers 100 watts per channel in stereo configuration into 2, 4, or 8-ohm loads, maintaining precise control across the 20–20,000 Hz range with imperceptible tolerance, while in mono mode it reaches 200 watts, offering wide flexibility in speaker choice. Distortion is minimal, with a THD not exceeding 0.05%, ensuring crystal-clear sound even at high power. The tube complement is generous and carefully selected: eight KT88 tubes for the output stage, four 12AX7A tubes for the input stage, and four 12AT7 tubes for the driver stage, all working together to produce a warm, precise, and deeply musical tone. Connectivity includes balanced inputs for improved noise immunity and gold-plated output terminals that ensure optimal contacts and long-term reliability.

Ceramic feet with gold contacts contribute to stability and signal purity, while the characteristic Wattmeter, fast and accurate, allows easy monitoring of power peaks and keeps speakers operating safely.
