The Klimo Kent Gold Improved are monoblock tube power amplifiers designed to deliver a high-end listening experience, representing the evolution of Dusan Klimo's renowned original Kent project. Their monoblock configuration, with a dedicated chassis for each channel, is a deliberate engineering choice aimed at maximizing performance while ensuring complete electrical and mechanical independence between the two audio channels.

The physical separation of the electronics eliminates any electrical or electromagnetic interference between the left and right channels, resulting in improved stereo imaging, more precise soundstage localization, and a more realistic spatial presentation. Each monoblock is equipped with its own dedicated power supply, featuring an independent power transformer and separate energy reserve. This design provides greater operational stability, effortless dynamics, and excellent control even during the most demanding musical passages.

The output stage employs the highly regarded EL34 output tubes in a push-pull configuration, combining musicality, natural tonal balance, and excellent driving capability. Delivering approximately 35 to 40 watts per channel, the Kent Gold Improved offers authoritative performance thanks to its high-quality output transformers, enabling it to drive even relatively demanding loudspeaker loads with confidence.

Compared to the previous Gold version, the Improved model incorporates several significant engineering refinements. The output transformers have been further optimized to extend frequency response at both ends of the audible spectrum, contributing to a more linear and controlled sound reproduction. Passive components are carefully selected with exceptionally tight tolerances, ensuring consistent performance and perfect matching between the two monoblocks.

The circuitry has also been refined, with more accurate bias control and an optimized signal path that further reduces background noise while preserving signal integrity. The result is an amplifier characterized by outstanding transparency, tonal balance, and the ability to reproduce every musical detail with remarkable naturalness and precision.
