Circuit design for high audio quality – ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology)
The ToP-ART design and ART Base ensure optimal sound quality. By keeping signal processing and transmission simple and direct, there is less chance of noise and distortion affecting the signal. Yamaha’s ToP-ART amplification technology features a direct and symmetrical I/O (input-to-output) layout, with left and right channels arranged in a straight, symmetrical configuration for maximum signal purity. In addition, the ART Base (Anti-Resonance and Tough) chassis and reinforcement structure provide extreme rigidity and significantly reduce vibration. This innovative Yamaha design contributes to musical and rich audio reproduction.

High-quality components for outstanding audio performance
Custom transformer and capacitors, two direct speaker signal path relays, single-point grounding system, extruded aluminum heat sink, and top-quality components capable of handling demanding audio signals with ease. The quality of each component, as well as their integrated operation, determines HiFi audio performance. Yamaha uses only carefully selected and tested high-quality components.

Pure Direct mode for greater audio purity
Pure Direct mode allows the music signal to travel the shortest possible path, bypassing the buffer amplifier, tone controls, loudness, and balance control, virtually eliminating any signal degradation for maximum audio purity.

Continuously variable loudness control
The A-S301 features a new analog loudness control on the front panel, using electronic volume control for superior sound quality, allowing precise adjustment of the loudness effect. Separate from the main volume, it adjusts low and high frequency balance, delivering a full tonal range at any volume level and compensating for the human ear’s reduced sensitivity at low and high frequencies.

Digital audio input for TV and Blu-ray player
The A-S301 is equipped with digital inputs including optical and coaxial terminals. The optical input receives audio from a TV, while the coaxial input handles audio from a Blu-ray player. The signal remains digital, ensuring pure and dynamic sound for all entertainment sources, from sports and TV programs to movies and concerts.

Compatible connection with YBA-11 Bluetooth wireless adapter
With the YBA-11, you can stream music wirelessly from Bluetooth-enabled devices. Thanks to the digital connection and aptX® audio decoding algorithm, you can enjoy high-quality wireless audio playback. The YBA-11 can also be conveniently powered via the DC-out terminal on the rear panel of the amplifier.

Speaker A, B or A+B selection and dual speaker terminals
You can connect two separate speaker pairs in different rooms and use them alternately or simultaneously. With four speaker terminals available, you can select speaker pairs with a simple switch for perfect matching with the audio source.

Subwoofer terminal
A dedicated subwoofer output is provided, allowing enhanced bass output for more powerful sound and improved overall audio performance.

MM phono terminal
Connection for an MM phono turntable is available for vinyl playback. This allows you to enjoy not only CDs but also analog recordings with the latest analog and digital amplification technologies.

Simple and refined design
With a beautifully simple and unique design inherited from Yamaha audio components, this amplifier features extremely straightforward controls. The aluminum front panel has a rich and refined finish. The control knobs share the same luxurious feel used in high-end models.

Simple and minimalist remote control design
The remote control is designed for easy understanding and operation, including volume adjustment and track selection. It features a refined finish that perfectly matches the amplifier design. It can also be used to control a Yamaha CD player.

Rotary input selector with LED indicators
The rotary input selector makes source selection quick and easy. Its finish and materials offer a luxurious tactile feel. LED indicators clearly show the selected source, making it easy to switch even in a dark room.

Auto standby function
The amplifier includes a power management function that detects when it has not been used for a long period (approximately 8 hours) even if left on, and automatically switches to standby mode. Even if you forget to turn it off, power consumption is minimized.
