Subsequent power supply stages use tight-tolerance components, including T-Network capacitors, to deliver precisely the voltage and current required for distortion-free signal reproduction.

The RA-1570’s input section is highly versatile, designed to accommodate the growing popularity of digital sources. The front panel features a USB input for quick connection of devices such as iPod, iPhone, and iPad, while the rear panel offers an asynchronous USB input for PCs supporting up to 24-bit/192 kHz. Digital connectivity is further enhanced with two coaxial (RCA) and two optical (TOSLINK) inputs, compatible with LPCM signals up to 24-bit/192 kHz, including popular streaming devices, with the ability to fix levels for devices with their own volume control. Analog inputs include both traditional RCA connectors and a pair of balanced XLRs, ensuring full compatibility with any source.

A stereo Wolfson WM8740 DAC handles the delicate conversion from digital data to continuous analog waveforms, while the Class AB output stage uses discrete components to accurately reproduce all signals, regardless of source or speaker type. The 120 watts per channel output into 8 ohms allows simultaneous operation on both channels without compromise, delivering high performance even in demanding applications. The RA-1570 also features separate pre-out/main-in connectors, a high-visibility VFD display for settings, and a precisely calibrated electronic volume control, providing an intuitive and immediate user experience.
