The Audio Analogue ABsolute is a high-end integrated amplifier developed to represent the ultimate expression of the Italian manufacturer's more than twenty-five years of engineering expertise. Created as a celebratory flagship project, it combines advanced circuit design, uncompromising construction, and the finest Made in Italy craftsmanship to deliver true reference-level performance in high-fidelity audio.

Its defining feature is the ability to switch between pure Class A and Class AB operation at the touch of a button. This dual-mode design allows the amplifier to adapt to different listening preferences, offering the refinement, smoothness, and natural tonal character of pure Class A, or the greater output power and dynamic authority of Class AB, while maintaining exceptional performance in either operating mode.

The entire circuit is designed according to Audio Analogue's Airtech philosophy and employs a SeGeSTA architecture with zero global feedback, a configuration intended to preserve signal integrity and achieve exceptionally transparent and natural sound reproduction. Every amplification stage is fully balanced, built with discrete components, and housed on dedicated circuit boards in a true dual-mono layout, minimizing channel interaction while improving separation, dynamics, and stereo imaging.

The output stage features twelve bipolar transistors per channel and is supported by an impressive 81,600 µF of filter capacitance per channel, providing substantial current reserves and excellent control even when driving demanding loudspeakers. Oversized military-grade resistors further reduce thermal distortion, ensuring consistent performance and long-term stability under heavy operating conditions.

Only carefully selected audiophile-grade components are used throughout the amplifier to optimize performance in both Class A and Class AB operation. All functions are managed by a microcontroller, while the volume control offers four selectable response curves that can be matched to loudspeaker sensitivity for more precise adjustment. LED brightness can also be set to three different levels to suit the listening environment.

Internal wiring is made from ultra-high-purity 7N OCC solid-core copper, while the output connectors are manufactured from gold-plated copper to ensure maximum signal integrity and long-term reliability.

For the most demanding listeners, the amplifier is also available in the RR version, featuring a fully analog volume attenuation system based on relays and precision resistor networks. This solution is designed to further improve transparency, accuracy, and overall sonic performance compared to conventional volume control systems.

The mechanical construction reflects the same uncompromising philosophy. The chassis combines clean, elegant styling with an exceptionally robust structure dominated by massive solid-machined heat sinks that not only provide highly effective cooling but also showcase the excellence of Italian precision manufacturing. The amplifier is supplied with a premium remote control machined from solid aluminum and available in either natural aluminum or satin black finish, perfectly complementing the outstanding build quality of the unit.
