The Accuphase E213 is a high-end integrated amplifier designed to reveal every detail of audio sources. With an output power of 120 watts per channel, the E213 combines advanced amplification technologies with an elegant and refined design, delivering clear, dynamic, and distortion-free sound. Its architecture is based on Accuphase’s proprietary MCS (Multiple Circuit Summing) topology, implemented in both the preamplifier and power amplifier sections, which significantly improves the signal-to-noise ratio and reduces distortion, resulting in exceptionally transparent playback.

The power amplifier section employs multi-emitter transistors in a parallel push-pull configuration, designed for high-power audio applications, supported by a large toroidal transformer and high-capacity electrolytic capacitors. This ensures ample, stable, and high-quality power delivery, up to 115 watts into 4 ohms or 90 watts into 8 ohms. The current-feedback technology maintains impeccable frequency response and minimizes phase shifts, providing fast transients and outstanding sonic transparency even with demanding speakers.

The E213 is engineered to maintain complete electrical and structural separation between the preamplifier and power amplifier sections, allowing them to function as independent components. The power amplifier can also be used independently via the EXT PRE switch and dedicated inputs. Source switching is performed through high-quality logic-controlled relays, optimized for short, direct signal paths, while the tone controls use summing active filters to ensure precise adjustments without compromising signal purity.

Versatility is further enhanced by optional boards for digital or high-quality phono inputs, dual heavy-duty speaker terminals supporting large-gauge cables, analog peak meters, and precision volume control. The large 400 VA transformer, 22,000 µF capacitors, and high-carbon cast iron damping feet ensure stability, isolation, and rich, detailed, dynamic sound even at low levels.
