Fabio Camorani has already reissued several titles from the Swedish Proprius label's catalog, both on LP and UHQCD, always receiving unanimous praise from both audiophile audiences and critics. The excellent sound quality of these reissues convinced the Proprius executives to allow Camorani to work on the original tapes of the extraordinary masterpiece that is the second volume of Jazz at the Pawnshop.

When Camorani first listened to these tapes, he realized that until then, no edition of the second volume of Jazz at the Pawnshop had fully captured its distinct musicality. Recorded on December 6 and 7, 1976, by sound engineer Gert Palmcrantz at Jazzpuben Stampen in Stockholm, this album features the great saxophonist and clarinetist Arne Domnérus, accompanied by bassist Georg Riedel, pianist Bengt Hallberg, vibraphonist Lars Erstrand, and drummer Egil Johansen. Camorani concluded that, compared to the original edition, every subsequent version had a sound image clearly in line with the priorities that the sound engineers had focused on when addressing the most important sound parameters. However, in all these remastering processes, the overall balance suffered. To solve this issue, Camorani centered his work on perfecting the balance. Thanks to his meticulous efforts, Camorani achieved a harmonious reissue, perfectly balanced, with a wide dynamic range, free of any compression, ensuring an exceptional listening experience.
