At its core, the Gravis V features a 12” (305 mm) long-throw driver, equipped with a three-layer diaphragm composed of two woven fiberglass outer layers surrounding a honeycomb Nomex core. This sophisticated construction provides a remarkable combination of stiffness and lightness, allowing the cone to move large volumes of air with exceptional accuracy and control, even at extended excursions.

In terms of connectivity, the Gravis V stands out for its full versatility. It supports both high-level input (via a 4-pole Speakon® connector) and line-level signals, with balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs—making it compatible with a wide range of hi-fi and home theater systems.

Wireless signal management is enabled through a dedicated transmitter, allowing for a clean and simple installation with no need for complicated cabling. Additionally, all subwoofer functions can be conveniently controlled via a dedicated mobile app, available for both iOS and Android, streamlining setup and real-time adjustments.

Aesthetically, the Gravis V reflects Sonus faber’s timeless design ethos: the cabinet is wrapped in premium black leather, while the handcrafted lacquered wood top adds a sophisticated touch.
