Subwoofer specifically designed for Home Theater systems, with a particular focus on reproducing the low-frequency effects (LFE) found in movie soundtracks. Its configuration prioritises powerful, responsive bass, delivering impact during action sequences and throughout cinematic soundtracks.

The sealed enclosure features a robust construction with a textured vinyl finish and houses a front-firing 30 cm CarbonGlas cone driver, designed to combine rigidity with low mass. The butyl rubber surround allows for extended cone excursion, while the sealed-cabinet design helps maintain controlled driver movement and precise low-frequency response.

The integrated NextGen5 Class D amplifier delivers 500 W and is designed to provide high performance within a compact enclosure. The claimed frequency response extends down to 22 Hz at -6 dB, allowing the subwoofer to reproduce the deepest frequencies in movie soundtracks. The rear panel provides level and crossover frequency adjustments, a 0°/180° phase switch, and controls for power and standby operation.

Connections are provided through two RCA inputs, alongside unfiltered loopthrough outputs. For installations where a wired connection is not preferred, the optional REL HT-Air wireless system is available, transmitting the audio signal with very low latency.

The REL HT/1205 is designed for Home Theater systems requiring deep, powerful bass reproduction, with straightforward setup and adjustments that allow its performance to be tailored to the room and the other speakers in the system.
