The Harbeth Nelson is a unique solution that combines a loudspeaker stand with an integrated bass extension system, designed to enhance the performance of compact monitors without increasing their overall footprint. Developed specifically for models such as the Harbeth P3ESR and loudspeakers based on the BBC LS3/5A design, it incorporates a dedicated low-frequency reinforcement system directly into the stand, extending bass response while preserving the speaker's original sonic character.

The system features a dedicated 5-inch Harbeth driver exclusively assigned to low-frequency reproduction, powered by a 50-watt digital amplifier. This configuration increases bass depth and authority while maintaining precise control, ensuring seamless integration with the main loudspeaker and delivering a balanced, coherent response across the entire frequency spectrum.

Bass output can be adjusted through a dedicated level control, allowing the user to tailor the low-frequency response to the listening room, speaker placement, personal preferences, and the type of music being played. This flexibility makes it possible to achieve an optimal tonal balance in a wide range of installation environments.

The Nelson has been engineered to integrate acoustically with Harbeth loudspeakers without altering their natural sound signature.
