The Wilson Audio Series 6 system represents the evolution of an idea born from the passion of Dave and Sheryl Lee Wilson for sonic excellence, the result of decades of research and continuous improvement. The WATT speaker, the heart of the system, is designed to deliver uncompromising precision and speed of response, concentrating in a compact yet extremely rigid and well-damped cabinet a sound quality that set new standards in the world of studio monitors. The truncated pyramid design with angled panels reduces diffraction, while composite materials and internal lead slabs minimize unwanted vibrations, ensuring a clean and detailed sound.

The WATT features a 1” inverted titanium dome tweeter and a 7” treated-paper midrange/woofer, both modified to maximize transparency and naturalness of sound, even in the most complex passages. The speaker’s versatility is supported by a rear panel with an interchangeable tuned port, designed to adapt to different types of amplifiers, including tube amps.

Completing the system, the Puppy subwoofer is engineered to perfectly complement the WATT, filling in the low frequencies with two unusually large and powerful 8” woofers. The equally solid and well-reinforced construction ensures extreme precision in controlling low frequencies, avoiding resonances that could compromise the system’s clarity.

The synergy between WATT and Puppy is further refined by the “Puppy Paws,” adjustable supports that improve floor coupling and allow the user to fine-tune the system’s height and sound response according to the specific characteristics of the listening room, providing precise control over soundstage and bass balance. This enables the system to maintain its precise performance even in acoustically challenging environments.
