Loudspeaker from the Prestige series that combines a traditional acoustic design with components and solutions developed to optimize its performance. The model uses a 12-inch Tannoy Dual Concentric™ driver equipped with an Alnico magnet system, designed to provide high sensitivity and a dynamic response suitable for reproducing a wide range of musical genres.

The cabinet follows the characteristic design of the Prestige series and is handcrafted and hand-assembled. It features a hardwood veneer finish and retains a classic aesthetic intended to complement both traditional and more contemporary interiors.

The crossover is revised compared with the standard Prestige models through the use of selected components and materials. The configuration employs laminated iron-core inductors designed to minimize losses in the bass range and maintain control of the low frequencies, while the high-frequency section uses 99.99% pure silver wiring and components separated from the rest of the crossover network.

Hovland Musicaps® capacitors are used in the high-frequency section and feature a construction based on polypropylene film and a separate conductive film, a solution intended to maintain a high level of transparency and accuracy in signal reproduction.

The internal wiring uses Acrolink® conductors made from 6N copper, while the connection system features five gold-plated terminals. The fifth terminal allows the loudspeaker chassis to be grounded and, together with the appropriate speaker cable, helps reduce the effects of radio-frequency interference, particularly in the midrange.

The Yorkminster SE therefore retains the construction approach typical of the Prestige series, with the cabinet and components assembled by hand and a combination of Dual Concentric™ technology, an Alnico magnet system and a crossover network developed using dedicated components.
