Olympica Nova III represents the perfect blend of class, elegance, and acoustic precision. Slim and graceful, this three-way floorstanding speaker by Sonus faber is the result of true Italian craftsmanship, combining refined design with top-tier sound performance. The asymmetric lute-shaped form, inherited from the first generation Olympica and perfected in this new edition, is not only an aesthetic feature but a technical solution that optimizes sound dispersion and drastically reduces internal resonances. The cabinet is constructed with sides made of eight layers of curved wood and strategically placed internal reinforcements to minimize unwanted vibrations and maintain impeccable timbral coherence.

The hand-finished natural wood front panel, available in walnut or wenge finishes, is set within a solid die-cast aluminum plate, while the tweeter and midrange are framed by exquisite Italian leather coverings, meticulously applied at the Vicenza factory. This attention to materials is also evident in the choice of the solid aluminum base paired with adjustable steel spikes, ensuring optimal decoupling from the floor.

The acoustic configuration features a 28 mm silk tweeter with DAD™ technology, supported by a neodymium motor and a die-cast aluminum ring, a 150 mm midrange with a cone made of cellulose pulp and natural fibers such as kapok and kenaf, air-dried, and two 180 mm woofers with a sandwich structure consisting of cellulose pulp layers bonded by synthetic foam. The woofers are completed with impregnated fabric dust caps and larger voice coils for deep, controlled bass performance.

The internal crossover is a sophisticated Paracross topology system, designed to eliminate interference and resonance, assembled with carefully selected components such as Jantzen inductors and Clarity Cap capacitors custom-made for Sonus faber. The frequency response ranges from 35 Hz to 35,000 Hz, with a sensitivity of 90 dB and a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms. The recommended amplifier power ranges from 50 to 300 watts, ensuring powerful yet clean and natural sound reproduction.

The reflex tuning system adopts the proprietary Stealth Ultraflex technology, organically integrated into the cabinet with an extruded aluminum port that promotes fast airflow free from unwanted vibrations. This significantly contributes to the clarity and responsiveness of the sound, making the listening experience immersive and engaging regardless of the music genre. Completing the package are the iconic removable elastic wire grille and the possibility to invert the speaker pair placement to optimize room interaction, perfectly adapting performance to the space.
