The ProAc Studio 125 loudspeakers are a classic model from the renowned British manufacturer, an elegant two-way floorstanding design that combines refined aesthetics with high-level sonic performance. Their slim and understated profile stands out for its timeless and minimalist design, allowing them to blend effortlessly into virtually any listening environment.

An evolution of an award-winning model highly praised by both reviewers and audiophiles, this version retains the character that made the original so successful while introducing a number of significant technical improvements. The newly developed 6.5-inch woofer features an elevated open voice coil design that improves linearity and significantly reduces distortion. Mounted on a more rigid ProAc-developed chassis, the upgraded motor assembly delivers greater dynamic capability, improved power handling, and enhanced detail retrieval.

Low-frequency performance benefits from a sophisticated dual-port bass reflex loading system, consisting of a flared port and a larger secondary straight port. This solution provides deeper, tighter, and more authoritative bass while maintaining excellent speed and control.

Integration between the frequency ranges is handled by a high-quality crossover network that seamlessly blends the woofer with a premium soft-dome tweeter. The tweeter is characterized by a remarkably smooth, natural, and highly detailed presentation. Its ferrofluid cooling system has been further refined to extend frequency response and improve high-frequency accuracy.

The cabinet construction reflects the craftsmanship for which the brand is known. The enclosure uses high-quality MDF panels of varying thicknesses, reinforced with bituminous damping and internally lined with anechoic-grade acoustic foam. This robust structure minimizes unwanted resonances and provides a solid foundation for accurate and transparent sound reproduction.

Despite its relatively compact dimensions, the Studio 125 is capable of producing a large and immersive soundstage with impressive depth, weight, and authority. Bass response is extended and well controlled, the midrange remains open and natural, and imaging is precise and believable. Alongside its excellent dynamic capabilities, the speaker delivers remarkable finesse, smoothness, and an impressive ability to reveal fine musical details.
