The Response D48 loudspeaker is developed following an extensive period of research and development, aimed at significantly refining sonic performance, particularly in the midrange and low-frequency response, which is cleaner, faster, and more extended. The design incorporates a newly developed monitor-derived woofer, specifically engineered for this model, featuring a specially coated cone and an oversized phase plug that allows for greater midrange detail while maintaining precise and controlled bass reproduction with depth and articulation.

The two low-frequency drivers operate through a floor-loading system with side vents, a solution that improves room integration by making the speaker less sensitive to placement and easier to position, while ensuring a consistent and controlled response. The output of the woofers integrates seamlessly with the ribbon tweeter of the D48R version, delivering high frequencies that are extremely refined, open, and rich in micro-detail.
