The JBL Stage A190 is presented as the flagship model of the Stage series, designed and engineered in JBL’s acoustic laboratories in Northridge, California, with the aim of delivering a dynamic, powerful, and engaging sound reproduction. It is a 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed to integrate seamlessly into both home hi-fi systems and stereo home theatre setups, consistently providing energetic performance capable of handling even the most demanding musical passages with ease.

Its acoustic design is based on a pair of 200 mm Polycellulose woofers, a material that combines lightness and rigidity to ensure fast response and deep, tight, well-controlled bass, in line with the brand’s signature sound. The high frequencies are handled by a 25 mm aluminium dome tweeter paired with the patented High-Definition Imaging (HDI) waveguide, a solution designed to optimise both horizontal and vertical sound dispersion, widening the soundstage and providing a more stable and natural listening experience.

The 2.5-way configuration allows particularly effective bass management, as one woofer covers the full mid-bass and bass range while the second is dedicated exclusively to the lowest frequencies, increasing output and extension in the low end without compromising midrange coherence. This design makes the speaker suitable both for pure stereo listening and as front channels in multichannel systems, always maintaining a precise and engaging sonic balance.

Thanks to its efficiency and high sensitivity, the JBL Stage A190 is easy to drive and compatible with a wide range of amplifiers, from mid-powered stereo receivers to more refined integrated amplifiers or properly matched valve systems, offering great flexibility in system matching. Its performance makes it particularly well suited to medium and large rooms, where it can fully express its ability to fill the space with a full, dynamic, and well-articulated sound.
