DALI SONIK 7

A loudspeaker designed for medium to large rooms, intended for stereo Hi-Fi systems and home theatre installations. Its configuration, featuring two 7-inch woofers and a hybrid tweeter, delivers deep, controlled bass while maintaining balanced vocal and instrumental reproduction and good high-frequency definition. The loudspeaker is suited to both low-volume music listening and the reproduction of dynamic content at higher listening levels.

The two woofers feature Clarity Cone™ diaphragms made from a combination of paper and wood fibres, designed to combine rigidity, low weight and resonance control. Inspired by technology developed for the DALI KORE model, this design promotes natural upper-midrange reproduction and a smooth transition between the drivers and the tweeter, helping to minimise tonal coloration.

The SMC™ (Soft Magnetic Composite) magnet system, developed by DALI to reduce distortion, combines a ferrite ring with a pole piece made from iron and SMC™ material. The latter offers high magnetic permeability and low electrical conductivity, helping to reduce eddy currents and hysteresis in the voice coil's working area. The result is improved driver linearity and cleaner, more detailed midrange reproduction.

The DALI hybrid tweeter is designed to provide wide high-frequency dispersion, ensuring detailed reproduction from different listening positions. The combination of the midrange and bass sections allows the SONIK 7 to reproduce voices and instruments naturally, maintaining good intelligibility even at lower listening levels.

In a stereo system, the DALI SONIK 7 aims to deliver rich, articulate reproduction, while in a home theatre installation it can be used as a front speaker, contributing to the reproduction of soundtracks and effects with an extended dynamic range and a suitably powerful sound presentation, even in larger rooms.
