The Avalon Ascendant MK2 stands out as a high-end floorstanding loudspeaker, the result of meticulous design and craftsmanship that adheres to the highest quality standards.

It is a two-way bass reflex system, engineered to deliver a wide and controlled frequency response, extending from 28 to 25,000 Hz with a very tight tolerance of +/- 1.5 dB. With a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms and a sensitivity of 89 dB, it supports amplifier power from 50 to 200 watts and proves to be surprisingly manageable even when paired with tube amplifiers. Each speaker weighs 35 kg, a testament to the structural solidity and attention to eliminating unwanted resonance.

The MK2 version marks a significant evolution compared to the previous model, introducing a new generation ceramic tweeter and a completely redesigned crossover. Internal components are carefully selected, including a midwoofer with a honeycomb structure—extremely rigid yet lightweight—allowing for precise and dynamic reproduction across the mid and low frequencies. The interaction between the drivers is finely tuned to maximize tonal coherence and spatial depth.
