The Wharfedale Diamond 9.CM is a center channel speaker from Wharfedale’s renowned Diamond 9 series, designed to deliver outstanding clarity and vocal presence—key elements in any home theater system. This model was developed to be the perfect match for the front speakers of the same series, ensuring essential tonal coherence in the center channel, where most dialogue is reproduced in multichannel content.
With an elegant and refined aesthetic, the Diamond 9.CM features a horizontal 3-way design and incorporates advanced materials and technology for its price range. The woven Kevlar woofers—one of Wharfedale's signature features—are known for their stiffness and lightness. The tweeter is a soft silk dome cooled with ferrofluid, engineered to deliver smooth, natural, and well-controlled high frequencies without causing listening fatigue.
The cabinet features an intelligent internal bracing system (referred to as "composite bracing") that minimizes resonance and enhances structural rigidity. The result is a cleaner, more accurate sound with highly effective dynamic response—especially in vocal reproduction.
