The sound, delivered by the 11th-generation Uni-Q driver designed by Michael Young, is natural, precise, and uniform throughout the room, eliminating the traditional “sweet spot” and providing an immersive, three-dimensional experience. The total 200 W class D power, with dedicated amplifiers for tweeter and woofer, ensures enveloping and detailed audio, while the Music Integrity Engine and proprietary DSP enhance clarity, precision, and bass definition.

LSX II supports files up to 24-bit/384 kHz and DSD, and via USB-C handles PC audio with DAC conversion, DSP, and internal quad-amplification, offering uncompromised desktop-quality sound. Wireless connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Roon Ready, while multiroom management and integration with Smart Home systems like Elan, RTI, Crestron, and Savant make daily use simple and flexible. The Kef Connect app allows easy control of all parameters, optimizing sound according to the room and managing subwoofers, streaming, and sources, with “Normal” mode for beginners and “Expert” mode for advanced customization.
