The Harbeth Monitor 40.5 XD2 is a loudspeaker designed as the evolution of the previous Monitor 40.3 XD, introducing a series of refinements that further enhance its acoustic performance. It has been developed to deliver exceptionally faithful sound reproduction, combining outstanding transparency, authoritative low-frequency extension, and a precise, natural soundstage while retaining the easy amplifier compatibility that has long distinguished Harbeth loudspeakers.

At the heart of the system is Harbeth's proprietary RADIAL technology, the result of extensive research into loudspeaker diaphragm materials. This innovative solution delivers exceptionally linear and coherent reproduction, offering a remarkable level of detail while faithfully conveying subtle nuances, microdynamics, and natural tonal balance across the entire frequency spectrum.

The XD2 version also incorporates a completely redesigned crossover network, developed to optimize the integration between the drive units while further improving tonal accuracy, openness, and definition.
