Two-way passive loudspeakers that incorporate a range of technologies in a compact cabinet, designed to deliver detailed and natural sound reproduction. The acoustic system combines an ultra-lightweight 29 mm soft-dome tweeter with a 5.25-inch woofer, measuring approximately 133 mm, featuring a Clarity Cone™ diaphragm made from paper and wood fibre. This combination delivers well-defined, detailed high frequencies alongside a natural midrange, helping reproduce vocals and instruments realistically. The wide sound dispersion also contributes to a balanced listening experience, even when the speakers are not positioned in the ideal location.

The Clarity Cone™ diaphragm, developed using technical solutions introduced by DALI in the KORE model, features a paper and wood fibre structure that combines low weight with rigidity, helping control unwanted resonances. This technology helps reduce coloration in the upper midrange and lower treble while ensuring a smoother transition between the woofer and tweeter, preserving tonal consistency.

The woofer's magnetic system incorporates SMC™ (Soft Magnetic Composite) technology, developed by DALI to reduce distortion and improve driver linearity. This composite magnetic material, characterised by high magnetic permeability and low electrical conductivity, helps limit phenomena such as hysteresis and eddy currents, which can interfere with voice coil movement. Reducing these effects contributes to a cleaner, more detailed midrange and more faithful reproduction of musical nuances.

The cabinet is designed to balance bass performance with the speaker's overall size. Despite their compact format, the SONIK 1 deliver a full and articulate sound, making them suitable for both music listening and the reproduction of film soundtracks and television dialogue. Their compact dimensions allow them to be placed on shelves, furniture and desks, mounted on dedicated stands or installed on a wall, adapting to a variety of home audio configurations.
