DALI RUBICON 2

The Rubicon 2 is a compact and refined stand-mounted speaker that combines small dimensions with impressive sound performance, making it perfect both as a main speaker in a compact stereo system and as a rear channel in a full Rubicon Home Theatre setup. Its solid MDF cabinet, finished with premium materials, provides an optimal working environment for the drivers, with a 25 mm thick front panel onto which the components are directly mounted. The 165 mm wood fibre midwoofer with an aluminum chassis delivers deep, precise, and controlled bass, while the 29 mm ultra-lightweight soft dome silk tweeter produces airy highs and detailed midrange response. Both drivers incorporate small but significant technical innovations, starting with the SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) magnet, which enhances linearity, reduces distortion, and optimizes dynamic performance.

The Rubicon 2 follows the design lines of the Mentor Menuet series, reinterpreted with a modern touch, featuring rounded edges and elegant finishes available in High-Gloss White, High-Gloss Black, Red, and Walnut. Gold-plated terminals ensure stable and reliable connections, while the rubber feet keep the speaker firmly in place and optimize its acoustic performance. Thanks to the careful design of the drivers, the crossover, and the rigid cabinet structure, the Rubicon 2 delivers a wide and detailed soundstage, surprisingly extended bass reproduction, precise timing, and consistently natural and musical sound.
