The Rubicon 2 is a compact and refined standmount loudspeaker that combines small dimensions with impressive sonic performance, making it suitable both as a main speaker in a compact stereo system and as a rear channel in a fully Rubicon-based home theater setup. The MDF cabinet, solid and finished with premium materials, provides an optimal working environment for the drivers, featuring a 25 mm thick front baffle on which the components are directly mounted. The 165 mm wood fibre midwoofer with aluminum basket delivers deep, precise, and controlled bass, while the ultra-light 29 mm soft dome silk tweeter ensures airy highs and a detailed midrange response. Both drivers incorporate key technical innovations, starting with the SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) magnet, which improves linearity, reduces distortion, and enhances dynamic performance.

The Rubicon 2 adopts the design language of the Mentor Menuet series, reinterpreted in a modern key with rounded edges and elegant finishes available in High-Gloss White, High-Gloss Black, Red, and Walnut. Gold-plated terminals ensure stable and reliable connections, while rubber feet keep the speaker firmly in place and help optimize acoustic performance. Thanks to the carefully engineered drivers, crossover design, and rigid cabinet structure, the Rubicon 2 delivers a wide and detailed soundstage, surprisingly extended bass response, and precise timing, while always maintaining naturalness and musicality.
