The Epicon 2 is a stand-mounted speaker that combines elegance and technology in a design capable of transforming listening into a refined and engaging experience. Every construction detail is carefully engineered: the cabinet is built from six layers of MDF reinforced with fifty-three bracing elements, all precisely machined with computer-controlled equipment to achieve absolute accuracy. The 33 mm front panel merges seamlessly with the curved side walls, creating a solid, resonance-free structure that minimizes internal standing waves and provides an ideal acoustic environment for the drivers.
The 165 mm midwoofer, with its characteristic dark red wood-fiber cone, reproduces the mid-bass range naturally, while the highs are handled by a 29 mm soft-dome silk tweeter paired with a ribbon tweeter to ensure extension, airiness, and detail. The two-way configuration is complemented by bi-wiring capability, with two pairs of terminals dedicated to the low and high-frequency sections. This allows separate amplification of the frequency ranges, enhancing dynamics and overall sound quality.
