The Elite loudspeaker from the Ebano line is conceived as the natural evolution of AM Audio’s stand-mount series, carrying forward the design principles of the Carbonio Ebano and refining them with even greater attention to detail. From the very first glance, it reveals craftsmanship focused on solidity and precision: the cabinet, built with a dual wooden structure made of solid cherry interspersed with birch plywood finished in ebony, is reinforced with high-tension corner fastenings and special adhesives that seal every joint, eliminating unwanted vibrations and ensuring impeccable performance. Inside, a sheet of hypoallergenic acrylic dampens resonances, while the internal wiring in Litz copper connects directly to the drivers to preserve signal purity.

Its acoustic section reflects the same meticulous engineering. The symmetric crossover operates with a 6 dB per-octave slope and uses a Mundorf M Cap Supreme Silver Gold Oil capacitor selected with a tolerance below 0.1%, while the first-order low-pass section employs an inductor composed of a braid of four hundred Litz copper strands. The five-inch woofer, equipped with a 75 mm aluminium-wound voice coil, handles up to 150 W DIN and reaches peaks of 1,000 W, delivering impressive extension and control. The MOREL-SUPREME tweeter, carefully selected and paired, reproduces high frequencies with the naturalness and transparency that define the loudspeaker’s sonic character.

When listening, the Elite favours coherence, a stable soundstage, tonal accuracy and extremely low distortion—qualities that fully emerge when paired with high-level amplification, particularly the AM Audio Class A models for which it was designed. On the rear panel, thick gold-plated solid-brass terminals allow bi-wiring.
