The AE100 MK II is a compact stand or bookshelf speaker that perfectly embodies Acoustic Energy’s philosophy, combining sound quality, refined design, and precise construction. Despite its small size, the speaker can achieve remarkable sound pressure levels thanks to the 110 mm mid-bass driver, designed around a high-force, long-throw motor system. Bass performance is further optimized by a slot port, which increases the airflow cross-sectional area while simultaneously reducing turbulence.
The 25 mm soft dome tweeter, featuring Acoustic Energy’s Wide Dispersion technology, ensures broad sound dispersion and clear high-frequency reproduction. The cabinet, built from thick and sturdy HDF, allows for increased internal volume without enlarging the external dimensions, enhancing bass extension while maintaining optimal rigidity. The elegant design combines modern curves with high-quality finishes, with wood options such as walnut that blend classic and contemporary aesthetics.
