Designed in collaboration with Allen Perkins of Spiral Groove, one of the world’s most renowned turntable and tonearm designers, the StudioDeck ensures faithful and accurate reproduction while upholding Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab’s long-standing tradition of sonic excellence. Manufactured and assembled in the United States at MoFi’s studios and labs, the turntable features a rigid chassis with an internal tuning system and vibration-isolating feet, achieving the ideal balance of stiffness and minimal tracking error. For the listener, this means hearing exactly what is recorded on the vinyl, without added coloration or distortion.

The technology employed in the StudioDeck is developed in collaboration with Harmonic Resolution Systems, a global leader in vibration isolation, and results in anti-vibration feet that completely isolate the turntable from external shocks and unwanted resonances.

The 10-inch Ultra tonearm, custom-designed and manufactured in the United States, uses high-quality, precision-ground ball bearings to reduce friction both vertically and horizontally, ensuring that every detail recorded on the vinyl is accurately transmitted without interference.

The AC synchronous motor, equipped with a two-position Delrin® pulley for 33 1/3 and 45 RPM, provides stable and precise rotational speed. Motor vibrations are isolated from the platter and stylus using advanced damping materials that fully decouple the motor from the rest of the turntable.

The StudioDeck’s construction includes laminated aluminum layers, with three plates carefully bonded to the MDF body, adding mass and reducing tonal coloration to reproduce the naturalness and authenticity of the records. Every detail is designed to provide a pure and immersive listening experience, transforming the simple playback of vinyl into a true musical ritual.
