The plinth, inspired by the catenary curve, combines elegance and structural rigidity, ensuring stability and vibration control. Made from carefully selected, seasoned, and stabilized Italian walnut, the lower plinth offers strength, elasticity, and solidity, resting on three adjustable anodized aluminum feet for added stability.

The 33 mm high-density POM platter is engineered for ultra-precise rotation, paired with a split-spindle system in bronze and hardened, lapped chrome steel, recessed into an acrylic base to minimize mechanical turbulence and interference. The hourglass-shaped pulley maintains constant belt movement, reducing Wow & Flutter and rumble, while the custom 12V synchronous motor delivers high torque with virtually no vibrations. Power is managed by a proprietary electronic system based on a Quadral-Core microprocessor, which precisely filters and reconstructs the electrical waveform, ensuring stable speed at 33⅓ and 45 rpm while storing user settings.

Giglio’s structure features a triple-damped plinth: solid wood is combined with a 3 mm stainless steel plate fastened in 16 points on an acrylic board, achieving state-of-the-art vibration control. The Sustarin platter, made of damping polymer, further reduces vibrations and improves rotational stability, guaranteeing precision and fluidity in sound reproduction.

The B-5.2 tonearm exemplifies Italian audio engineering, hand-built to provide maximum precision and superior performance with any cartridge on the market, supporting weights up to 15 grams with the included counterweights. Its apparent simplicity hides refined technical solutions that extract every detail from the vinyl groove, delivering natural and engaging sound.

The B-5.2 features four high-precision GRW micro-ball bearings made in Germany exclusively for Gold Note, individually sealed to preserve integrity and ensure silent, accurate operation. With a total length of 9 inches, an effective length of 242 mm, and a 19 mm overhang, it easily fits any high-end turntable without compromising performance.

High-quality materials, such as finely machined 6000 series aluminum, provide exceptional rigidity and resistance to deformation, ensuring precise cartridge tracking. The carefully crafted stainless steel counterweight allows the use of all commercially available cartridges, with optional additional weights for cartridges exceeding 15 grams.
