The E.A.T. C-Major is a turntable designed to deliver a refined analog listening experience, combining sophisticated construction, advanced engineering solutions, and a design philosophy focused on extracting the very best from vinyl records. Created to satisfy both experienced enthusiasts and newcomers seeking a higher-quality entry into analog playback, it represents a balanced combination of performance, elegance, and accessibility.
The design is built around a slim and sophisticated structure characterized by modern lines and meticulous craftsmanship. The plinth features an advanced carbon-fiber laminate over MDF construction, a combination chosen to increase structural rigidity while minimizing unwanted resonances. Its high-gloss lacquer finish provides a contemporary and elegant appearance, while every element of the chassis is engineered to contribute to mechanical stability and operational precision.
Particular attention has been devoted to vibration isolation. The upper plinth is decoupled from the main chassis through thermoplastic elastomer elements, a solution that effectively limits the transmission of vibrations and mechanical interference. The motor also benefits from this design philosophy, remaining isolated from the most sensitive parts of the system to preserve the purity of record playback.
Isolation is further enhanced by three precision-machined aluminum feet designed to damp vibrations originating from the surrounding environment. The combination of carefully selected materials and dedicated decoupling elements allows the turntable to maintain stable and controlled operation, promoting more accurate and detailed sound reproduction.
One of the defining features of the C-Major is the 9-inch C-Note tonearm, developed to ensure precise tracking and smooth operation. Its construction combines a carbon-fiber arm tube with precision-machined aluminum components, delivering an ideal balance of lightness, rigidity, and reliability. The bearing system ensures accurate and stable movement, while the innovative magnetic armrest securely guides the tonearm into position, providing a reassuring sense of solidity and ease of use during everyday operation.
The platter is engineered to ensure smooth and consistent rotation, contributing to a stable and natural musical presentation. The entire drive system has been optimized to minimize vibration and mechanical noise, allowing the turntable to deliver a dynamic, detailed, and highly engaging sound character capable of faithfully reproducing the nuances of a recording.
The quality of construction is evident in every detail. Each component features precise finishing and high-grade workmanship, reflecting a commitment to combining aesthetics with functionality. The turntable also includes a perfectly integrated dust cover designed to protect both the unit and records when not in use, preserving their appearance and performance over time.
Compact in size yet highly sophisticated in its design, the E.A.T. C-Major offers a compelling combination of elegance, mechanical precision, and attention to detail. The result is a turntable that fully captures the appeal of analog listening while delivering a smooth, engaging, and rewarding musical experience.
