The PS Audio AirLens is a sophisticated network interface for music streaming that redefines the standards of digital listening. Designed to overcome the limitations imposed by traditional connections such as USB, Ethernet, or WiFi directly to the DAC, it completely eliminates noise, jitter, and electromagnetic interference thanks to a fully galvanically isolated architecture. This ensures that digital signals are free from disturbances typical of computers, modems, routers, or NAS devices, delivering a pure audio stream.
The secret of the AirLens lies in the complete separation between the input and output sections, connected exclusively "through the air." No cable or physical circuit links the two parts: each has its own isolated power supply, while data transmission occurs via a RAM buffer and an ultra-precise reclocking system. This proprietary Digital Lens technology makes the output digital signal extraordinarily stable and noise-free, ensuring transparent, dynamic, and natural sound without the usual congestion typical of conventional streaming.
Compatible with popular services such as Roon, Audirvana, JRiver, Spotify, Qobuz Connect, and Tidal Connect, the AirLens easily connects to the home network via Ethernet or WiFi and to the DAC via coaxial RCA or I²S over HDMI outputs. It supports PCM files up to 384kHz and DSD up to 256x, both in DoP and native modes. Once placed between the source and converter, this device transforms the entire streaming listening experience, revealing timbral nuances, details, and spatiality previously unimaginable. With AirLens, streaming music finally reaches a quality level comparable — and in many cases superior — to the finest physical sources.
