The conversion process uses advanced upsampling techniques to frequencies in the megahertz range, followed by reconversion to the target sampling rate, all with extremely low jitter and distortion. This approach, combined with a low-noise linear power supply and audiophile-grade components, allows the Stream-9 to achieve performance well above the category average.

Equipped with a 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, the NuPrime Stream-9 offers a powerful and stable platform for high-resolution wireless streaming. It is compatible with major online music services such as Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, and QQ Music, and supports AirPlay 2 and the DLNA standard for integration into home multiroom systems. Device management is via free apps available for iOS and Android, allowing users to select music sources, create speaker groups, and easily control all streamer functions. For Android users, the BubbleUPnP app is recommended, while for iOS, MConnect Player is suggested to access Hi-Res streaming from TIDAL and Qobuz, although the latter does not yet support Qobuz Connect directly.
