The Gold Note DS-10 Plus is a streamer DAC/preamplifier designed to support virtually all digital inputs currently available, while also offering an analog source through the inclusion of a stereo analog input. Its architecture maintains a completely analog signal path, from input to output, ensuring pure and uncompromised music reproduction.

The Plus version of the DS-10 stands out with the addition of a mini stereo analog input, which replaces one of the two Bluetooth antennas on the rear panel. As for digital inputs, the device includes an Ethernet port, USB-A, AES/EBU, coaxial RCA, USB-B, Bluetooth 5.0, and two TosLink inputs. For outputs, it provides balanced XLR and RCA connectors. Additionally, it features a headphone output with a 6.3mm jack, allowing users to select between two sensitivity levels (High/Low), ensuring optimal performance with any type of headphone, thanks to Gold Note's exclusive technology.

The DS-10 is powered by the latest AKM AK4493 D/A converter, capable of handling resolutions up to 768 kHz/32 bit for PCM and DSD512 via USB-B, with support for PCM 24/192 kHz and DSD64 on other digital inputs. The integrated streaming system, based on a custom CDM-2121 board from ConversDigital, allows wired or wireless network connectivity and supports streaming platforms like Roon, Airplay, Tidal, MQA, Qobuz, Spotify, and Deezer, as well as access to locally stored music on NAS or Hard Disk.

Managing its functions is extremely intuitive, thanks to the dedicated 'GN Control' app, the remote control, and the front SKC (Single Knob Control) dial. The 2.8" color TFT display allows for easy monitoring and adjustment of all settings, while the ability to select from three different sonic profiles allows users to tailor the sound to the type of music being played, without compromising the audio signal quality.

Another distinctive feature of the DS-10 is the ability to choose from six digital filters, four levels of de-emphasis, and eight current settings, offering up to 192 different sound combinations, allowing audiophiles to fine-tune their listening experience in great detail.

For further performance enhancement, the DS-10 can be connected to the Gold Note PSU-10 EVO external inductive power supply, which further optimizes the device's sound performance. The construction is solid and well-finished, with Gold Note's signature cooling grills cut along the top and sides, giving the device an unmistakable touch of style.
