The FM/AM T-106 tuner is a refined example of audio engineering, designed to deliver high-quality radio reception through advanced technologies in both FM and AM domains. Thanks to the integration of electronic tuning circuits and the DGL detector for the FM section, the T-106 ensures precise and stable tuning.

The electronic tuning system, supported by a quartz oscillator, offers an accuracy of ±0.002%, maintaining stability over time and minimizing distortion caused by temperature changes or external vibrations. The static digital frequency display further reduces noise, providing a clear and interference-free readout.

The T-106 features random memory for 14 stations, with seven feather-touch buttons allowing quick and customizable access to your favorite stations. The rotary tuning knob, using an optical system, provides a tactile experience similar to traditional analog tuning, enabling continuous channel selection in 100 kHz steps for FM and 9 kHz for AM, accompanied by an audible beep.

The front-end section is designed with double tuning between the input and amplifier stages, significantly improving resistance to strong signal interference. The DGL detector, combined with a flat group-delay IF filter, offers excellent performance by minimizing distortion and optimizing the signal-to-noise ratio.

For AM reception, the T-106 employs a synchronous detection system that reduces distortion and enhances interference rejection—particularly effective at night or in areas affected by foreign station interference. This system also enables sideband selection, offering greater flexibility in handling interference.

Additional features include a noise filter to reduce hiss from weak stereo stations, a selectivity switch for managing frequent interference, a muting switch to eliminate inter-station noise, a sideband selector for AM, and a level control to match volume levels with other audio sources.
