The DSDse version adds support for DSD and sample rates up to 384 kHz, galvanic isolation, custom Vishay Z-Foil resistors with 0.1% tolerance and ±0.5 ppm/°C temperature coefficient, a femto-grade clock with 82 fSec phase jitter, ultra-low noise discrete regulators, ultra-fast recovery Schottky diodes, premium-grade inductors, and a rhodium-plated Furutech fuse. These upgrades ensure extremely low noise, with a signal-to-noise ratio below –115 dB and outstanding linearity of ±0.075 dB, delivering a neutral, transparent sound without coloration. High frequencies are smooth yet clear, bass is powerful and detailed, and the midrange is natural and convincing, without any sense of emphasis or recession.

The DAC-2 DSDse includes a high-quality built-in line preamplifier with volume control accessible via the remote and visible on the front panel display, allowing precise adjustments even in complex systems with components of varying sensitivities.
