The TY-1CD is the result of long-term research aimed at creating a high-quality product designed to last over time. It features a classic black-and-white aesthetic and a solid construction, achieved through the use of durable materials that enhance its reliability and long-term performance.

As a high-end CD player, it incorporates advanced design focused on signal purity and sonic fidelity. It offers a fully balanced output and two-way unbalanced outputs, solutions that help reduce interference, optimize sound delay, and minimize distortion, ensuring lossless and more natural playback.

The heart of its digital-to-analog conversion is the ESS ES9028 chip, capable of handling signals up to 32-bit/384 kHz, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 129 dB and extremely low distortion, delivering an analytical and highly detailed sound.

The analog section uses the Texas Instruments OPA1632 operational amplifier, based on a fully differential architecture that ensures extremely low noise, wide dynamic range, high output current, and virtually imperceptible harmonic distortion. Its extensive bandwidth and fast response allow precise and transparent sound reproduction even at high frequencies, supported by a high sampling rate that enhances overall playback quality.

Custom filter and coupling capacitors from the Japanese manufacturer ELNA contribute to a tonal balance that highlights deep lows, warm mids, and clear highs.

The custom disc drive is carefully selected and repeatedly tested to ensure accurate and stable reading, while the anti-vibration chassis minimizes stress on the pickup, further improving reading precision.

The power supply is based on a linear analog design with a 50 W toroidal transformer and high-quality electrolytic capacitors, organized into separate power lines for digital and analog circuits, limiting interference and providing clean, stable power.

The internal architecture features separate chambers that isolate the disc drive, power supply section, and D/A conversion unit. Dedicated shielding and anti-vibration solutions reduce noise and unwanted interactions, making operation more stable and reliable, allowing the TY-1CD to deliver pure, dynamic, and coherent sound.
