CD player equipped with a front USB port and designed to reproduce digital audio sources from both optical media and USB devices. The model supports CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs, including discs containing MP3 and WMA files.

The digital processing section uses Denon’s proprietary Advanced AL32 Processing Plus technology, which combines interpolation, up-sampling and bit-extension algorithms for audio signal processing. The player also incorporates a Master Clock DAC designed to optimize clocking during signal transmission and help reduce jitter.

The disc-reading mechanism is housed in a chassis and cabinet designed to limit vibrations and maintain stable disc reading. The front-mounted USB port allows a flash drive to be connected for playback of MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV files, as well as high-resolution formats such as FLAC, ALAC and AIFF up to 192 kHz/24 bit and DSD up to 5.6 MHz.

The rear panel features RCA analog audio outputs and optical and coaxial digital outputs. Connections for a wired remote control are also provided, allowing the player to be integrated with other compatible hi-fi components or systems.

The Pure Direct mode helps reduce possible internal interference during CD playback. When activated, the front-panel display and digital audio outputs are disabled, leaving the analog section active for signal reproduction.
