The UDP800 MKII presents itself as an advanced universal player designed to combine high-level audiovisual performance with a deeply optimized internal architecture. The design focuses on extremely precise and stable playback, achieved through a complete redesign of the internal layout and the adoption of carefully engineered solutions aimed at improving signal quality at every stage of processing. The audio section benefits from a newly developed 2.0 audio board design, equipped with seven high-quality OPA1602 operational amplifiers selected for their audiophile performance. Thanks to their ultra-low noise and high precision, these components significantly reduce distortion and ensure highly accurate signal reproduction, delivering a cleaner, more detailed, and more natural sound. The entire signal path uses high-purity internal copper wiring, while PCB connectors are upgraded with JST and Amphenol components, improving connection stability and overall reliability.

On the audio-video processing side, the UDP800 MKII introduces TMDS Retiming on the HDMI Audio output, a technology designed to effectively compensate for random jitter and improve digital signal integrity. This enhancement increases transmission accuracy and contributes to richer, more detailed audio reproduction, with improved clarity and definition in multimedia playback.

The USB section is also fully optimized through the integration of a new USB 3.0 HUB controller and a dedicated isolated power supply system. This configuration significantly improves compatibility with USB flash drives and external hard drives while increasing data transfer stability and speed. The result is smoother, more reliable, and higher-quality audio and video playback.

The UDP800 MKII is also Roon Ready certified, enabling seamless integration with the Roon ecosystem without complex setup procedures.
