The design of the Norstone Stylum 2 blends aesthetics and functionality. It has a robust lower base for stable floor support and a top plate for the speaker to rest on. Two vertical columns provide structural support and also offer a convenient internal channel for cable management, helping to maintain a clean and organized appearance.

For optimal isolation and perfect stability, the stand includes adjustable metal spikes on both the lower base and top plate. These spikes allow compensation for uneven floors and reduce unwanted vibrations. The stand can also be used without spikes, placed directly on the floor, though for best isolation, high-quality spike pads are recommended.

Performance can be further enhanced by filling the columns with damping material, such as Norstone metal beads, to reduce resonance. Approximately 5–6 kg of material per stand is recommended.
