SUPRA MD-04 EU MK3

Power distribution unit designed to supply audio, video and multimedia equipment. It features four outlets conforming to European standards and a 10 A IEC-320 male panel-mount input with a ground connection, as well as a 10 A fuse.

The model incorporates the Supra NIF (Non-Intrusive Filter), developed by Ben Duncan Research in England, which addresses radio-frequency interference (RFI) without restricting the high current demands typically required by the power supplies of connected equipment. The configuration provides one unfiltered output, intended for connection to an amplifier, while the other three outputs are filtered.

The aluminum chassis contributes to shielding the power distribution unit. Connected to ground potential, the conductive chassis helps discharge internally generated interference to ground and limits the ingress of radio-frequency interference from the surrounding environment. To ensure proper operation of the filtering and shielding system, the power distribution unit must be connected to a grounded wall outlet using a power cable that also provides a ground connection.

The Supra MD 04-EU MK3 is manufactured in Sweden and is intended for hi-fi systems, home cinema systems and other electronic equipment where power distribution and interference control are relevant considerations.
