The PowerPlant 20 is the largest and most powerful AC regenerator ever created by PS Audio. Designed to power and protect even the most complex and expensive audio systems in the world, it represents the pinnacle of electric power regeneration. This device does far more than merely filter or stabilize electricity—it completely rebuilds it, converting the unstable and contaminated AC from the home grid into DC, and then regenerating a brand-new, perfectly sinusoidal, stable, and distortion-free AC waveform.

With a peak power capacity of 3600 watts and continuous output of 2000 watts, the P20 delivers pure power to even the most demanding systems, ensuring superior dynamics, control, and silence. Its regeneration technology relies on a powerful low-impedance analog amplifier combined with a DSD waveform generator controlled by an FPGA, capable of producing sine waves as pure and quiet as no other regenerator on the market. The MultiWave and CleanWave functions further enhance optimization capabilities: MultiWave extends the sine wave charging time to improve power supply efficiency, while CleanWave demagnetizes the transformers of connected devices, contributing to a clearer and more controlled sound.

Internally, the P20 is built around a robust architecture of five fully independent output zones, equipped with a total of 13 outlets powered by oversized conductors and distribution bars. Each zone can be managed individually, with programmable power on/off settings and voltage output. The entire system is managed through a large 7-inch color touchscreen, which not only provides access to all settings but also enables real-time monitoring of key power parameters—harmonic distortion (THD), voltage, power consumption, improvement level, and waveform quality. The P20 also includes a built-in oscilloscope and THD analyzer for advanced grid analysis.

System protection is another key strength: the PowerPlant 20 offers comprehensive shielding from overvoltage, undervoltage, sudden spikes, and prolonged overload conditions, thanks to advanced protection circuits that act both at the input—via high-precision clamping devices—and at the output, with constant voltage regulation that neutralizes any potentially damaging variations. Even in the presence of large fluctuations from the mains, components powered by the P20 remain safe and continue to operate under ideal conditions.
