The PowerGrip YG-2, now in its second version, offers a compact and affordable solution while retaining the outstanding performance of its predecessor. Despite its reduced dimensions — only 80 mm in height and 185 mm in depth — it delivers the same power output as the larger YG-1 model, supporting a maximum load of 3680 watts at 230 V and 16 amps. This makes it ideal for powering complex and high-performance audio systems or full home theaters, even where space is limited.

The device features an ultra-precise filtering system capable of detecting and eliminating even the smallest disturbances in the electrical network. As a result, the sonic performance is significantly enhanced, making the quality of the audio components more perceptible, particularly during the file reading, decoding, and conversion stages. Digital clocks, in particular, benefit greatly from a clean power supply, resulting in reduced jitter and decoding errors, which translates into clearer, more defined sound.

The six power outlets of the YG-2 are divided into optimized groups: two are dedicated to digital sources such as DACs, CD players, and flat screens, enhancing the depth of the digital background; two are reserved for analog devices like preamplifiers and turntables, stabilizing the incoming power stream and improving microdynamics by reducing background noise; finally, two high-current outlets are specifically designed for power amplifiers, ensuring full dynamic range without compression, even under high energy demands.

The front panel includes a convenient touch sensor for quick access to settings and functions, such as voltage or distortion display, and allows for independent control of outlet groups. A programmable sequential startup system is also available, enabling users to choose the activation order of connected devices — for example, powering on sources first, then amplifiers. The YG-2 can also be remotely controlled via 12V trigger inputs and outputs, making integration with projectors, screens, or other devices straightforward.

To protect your entire setup, the PowerGrip YG-2 features a sophisticated surge protection and filtering system, with an intelligent disconnect mechanism that safeguards your equipment from dangerous voltage spikes. It also includes a gold-plated terminal for connection to a clean ground, which is essential for the proper operation of the advanced protection and filtering system.
