IFI IPOWER 2 5V

Power supply designed to provide a low-noise 5 V supply to DACs, streamers, interfaces and other compatible audio and digital devices. The design addresses power supply quality through Active Noise Cancellation II technology, which actively counteracts electrical interference rather than simply filtering it passively.

Active Noise Cancellation II detects noise present on the power line and generates an out-of-phase signal, helping to cancel EMI and RFI interference. This system reduces the power supply noise floor and, according to the manufacturer’s specifications, achieves a noise level more than ten times lower than that of most traditional audio power supplies.

The effectiveness of the system is supported by the use of improved components and heavier-gauge wiring, designed to ensure stable current delivery and greater noise suppression. The power supply therefore also functions as an active filter, limiting interference that can propagate through the power line and reach the circuits of the connected device.

The 5 V version is also designed for USB-powered devices and is supplied with USB-C to DC and micro-USB to DC pigtail cables. The package also includes five DC plug adapters, allowing the power supply to be used with different connector types and covering approximately 73% of the most common DC plugs. One of the adapters features reverse polarity and is identified by its white color, for devices requiring center-negative power.

It can also be paired with the DC iPurifier 2, creating a power supply chain in which the current is further treated to reduce electrical interference before reaching the connected device.
