The Gold Note PSU-5 is designed to work alongside the PH-5 phono preamplifier, significantly enhancing its performance and helping to elevate the entire analog system while delivering vinyl playback with greater precision and naturalness. Developed according to the same design philosophy that characterizes Gold Note external power supplies, it draws inspiration from high-end solutions and adopts a fully custom, Italy-made construction approach.

The design is based on a linear power supply with dedicated transformers, engineered to ensure a stable and consistent energy delivery, a key factor in preserving audio signal integrity. A dual-transformer circuit creates optimal operating conditions for the PH-5, while an advanced dual-choke inductive filter, developed with a dedicated transformer, effectively removes noise and electrical interference from the AC mains, ensuring complete isolation of the device.

Thanks to this architecture, the unit delivers an exceptionally clean current, drastically reducing electrical contamination and allowing the phono preamplifier to operate under ideal conditions. The result is a clear improvement in dynamics, higher resolution capability, and the retrieval of the finest sonic details, with a more precise and three-dimensional soundstage that recreates the musical event in a highly realistic and engaging way.
