The Ethernet LAN RJ45 passive signal filter is designed to optimize the performance of network connections within high-end audio and video systems, leveraging Furutech’s award-winning proprietary NCF (Nano Crystal² Formula) technology. It connects in a simple plug-and-play manner to an available RJ45 female Ethernet port on amplifiers, preamplifiers, streamers, DACs, A/V processors, and other digital sources, improving overall signal quality without requiring any system configuration or modification.

The device works by reducing electromechanical resonances and micro-vibrations that naturally occur within electronic components and can propagate through connectors and sensitive circuitry. This damping action helps lower the noise floor and improve signal-to-noise ratio and system dynamics, while preserving the original sonic character. The result is greater transparency, improved soundstage definition, more natural tonal balance, and richer harmonic reproduction.

At the core of its operation is NCF (Nano Crystal² Formula), an exclusive Furutech material composed of a special crystalline structure combined with nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder with piezoelectric properties. This material exhibits two key active characteristics: the ability to generate negative ions that neutralize static electricity, and the ability to convert thermal energy into far-infrared radiation, contributing to effective electrical and mechanical damping of interference.

The device incorporates audiophile-grade electrolytic capacitors, carefully selected and treated with a special damping coating designed to eliminate unwanted vibrations and ensure maximum signal transparency. Its filtering characteristics are precisely optimized to reduce interference and residual noise originating from the input and output terminals of connected devices.

The internal structure features a semi-sealed air chamber with calibrated pressure, designed to further enhance resonance control. The RJ45 connector uses a non-magnetic construction with 24k gold-plated copper-alloy shielding, ensuring protection against electromagnetic interference while maintaining excellent contact reliability.

The outer body is constructed from a hybrid of carbon fiber and non-magnetic metal components, while the rear cover is made from a special heat-resistant, antistatic nylon compound incorporating NCF material, shaped to further suppress residual resonances. All metal parts undergo Furutech’s proprietary Alpha Process, which combines deep cryogenic treatment at temperatures between -196°C and -250°C with a subsequent ring demagnetization process, improving structural stability and electrical conductivity.

Assembly is completed with shock-resistant stainless-steel safety screws, factory-tightened to precisely calibrated torque values to ensure optimal long-term performance. For this reason, the product is intended to be used only in its original configuration and should not be disassembled or modified.
