The beyerdynamic Amiron Home are open-back circumaural stereo headphones designed for home listening. Their open-back design promotes a spacious sound presentation and a three-dimensional perception of the soundstage, with an approach focused on music reproduction and the retrieval of detail.

The design uses dynamic drivers with optimized Tesla technology, developed by beyerdynamic to achieve high efficiency through a stronger magnetic field than traditional configurations. The driver structure is designed to minimize unwanted vibrations and high-frequency resonances. The stated frequency response extends from 5 to 40,000 Hz, while the nominal impedance of 250 Ohms makes the Amiron Home particularly suitable for use with headphone amplifiers and dedicated headphone outputs.

The sound reproduction combines precise low frequencies with a transparent midrange and defined high frequencies, allowing the headphones to be used with a variety of musical genres. The model is also certified Hi-Res Audio, according to the manufacturer.

The headband and earcups use materials designed to provide comfort during extended listening sessions, with microfiber and microvelour coverings. The circumaural design completely surrounds the ears, while the headband pressure is kept low to provide a stable and comfortable fit. The headphones weigh 340 grams without the cable.

The connection is wired and uses a detachable dual-sided cable measuring 3 meters in length, with gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack connectors and a 6.35 mm adapter. The Amiron Home are handcrafted in Germany and supplied with a carrying case.
