SUMIKO BLUE POINT NO. 3 LOW

Low-output moving-coil (MC) phono cartridge designed for use with phono preamplifiers equipped with an MC stage. Compared with the high-output version, it retains a smooth and natural sound reproduction while offering an additional level of refinement in detail retrieval and overall definition.

The reduced number of copper wire turns in the moving-coil assembly lowers both moving mass and internal impedance. This design allows greater stylus mobility and a shorter signal path, helping to improve resolution, dynamics and transient accuracy. It also provides better instrument separation and a more articulated perception of the soundstage.

Handcrafted in Japan by Excel Sound in Yokohama, the Blue Point No. 3 Low is produced with careful attention to assembly precision and material selection. Each cartridge undergoes listening evaluations to ensure it meets the manufacturer's quality standards, with the aim of delivering natural tonal balance and detailed, smooth analogue reproduction suitable for extended listening sessions.
