The MC Quintet Mono is a cartridge specifically designed for playing mono microgroove vinyl records, delivering an authentic and precise listening experience even on worn or slightly damaged discs. It features a Nude Elliptical stylus r/R 8/18 µm, particularly suited for accurately tracking the grooves of mono records while ensuring optimal surface noise control. Thanks to its strapped output, the signal is distributed evenly across both poles, eliminating the need for dedicated mono equipment and allowing true mono reproduction on any stereo system.

The cartridge body is made of PC-ABS, a lightweight, impact-resistant thermoplastic that provides a durable surface protected from scratches. Neodymium magnets ensure optimal output, while the low internal impedance reduces sensitivity to load, making the MC Quintet Mono compatible with a wide range of phono preamps and step-up transformers. The resulting sound is open and dynamic, with a subtle warmth that enhances the listening experience without compromising reproduction accuracy.

Installation is simple and secure thanks to threaded holes in the aluminum frame, allowing top-mounting. The precise geometry of the Quintet series, with right angles, straight lines, high stylus visibility, and adequate distance between the cartridge base and the record surface, facilitates correct alignment of the cartridge and tonearm. The MC Quintet Mono delivers excellent results with most commonly used tonearms, combining technical precision, ease of installation, and a natural, engaging sound.
