The Cadenza Black represents excellence in every aspect, revealing even the finest groove details and offering impeccable resolution with an acute perception of every recording. This model features a Nude Shibata stylus mounted on a boron cantilever—an incredibly rigid material that is lighter than aluminum—helping to minimize the effective mass of the stylus/cantilever system thanks to the use of an extremely thin boron rod.

The Cadenza Black also incorporates the WRD/Wide Range Damping system, already used in the MC Windfeld, MC A90, MC Anna, Xpression, and MC A95 cartridges, which allows separate control of high- and low-frequency damping. The coils are made with Ortofon’s renowned Aucurum wire, a 6NX copper wire plated with gold, ensuring unmatched sound quality.
